Our story
An honest shop, run the old-fashioned way
At Valley Auto Tech, we believe auto repair should be simple: tell you what's wrong, fix it right, and charge a fair price. That's how Joe runs this shop, and it's why customers who found us years ago still won't take their cars anywhere else.
We go to bat for you beyond the repair itself: negotiating with parts suppliers so the savings land on your bill, and handling the back-and-forth with warranty companies so you don't have to. Whether it's a stubborn electrical gremlin, an overheating engine, or routine maintenance, we take the time to get it right the first time.
You'll find us at 101 La Loma Ave in Modesto, open Monday through Saturday.
- Owner-operated by Joe
- We negotiate parts deals that show up on your bill
- Warranty claims handled for you
- Open six days a week
What customers say
“Thank you Joe for always keeping my car running at its best. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank you Eddie for fighting with my warranty people. You guys are awesome.”
“The owner Joe is right to the point. He fights his part suppliers for deals, that benifit his customers directly on their bill. He really does go above and beyond. The most honest mechanic I have ever met.”
“Great, honest work and they actually care about their customers! I've been going here for years and I wouldn't go anywhere else, I highly recommend them.”
